La prévention de suicide ne peut se faire que par une approche globale du problème en suivant les stratégies de promotion de la santé. Le développement d'une telle approche passe par un préalable : l'établissement d'un état des lieux de la situation. A ce jour, bien que nombres de professionnels, d'associations et de bénévoles oeuvrent dans le champ de la prévention et/ou de la prise en charge du suicidaire et/ou de son entourage, il est quasi impossible aujourd'hui en Communauté française de Belgique de se faire une idée précise des différents types d'interventions qui existent et des spécificités de celles-ci. L'année 1 de cette recherche se propose donc de répondre à cette préoccupation en situant la démarche dans un cadre conceptuel du processus suicidaire [The prevention of suicide can be done only by one global solution of the problem while following the strategies of promotion of health.
