This top-quality inter-university course, which is highly recommended abroad, will give you access to job opportunities in a para-medical field where there is a high demand for staff. In recent years graduates of the course have regularly found work inQuebec, or have had their qualification recognized inFrance, after the professional experience gained on their placements was convalidated..

The Master in Speech Therapy is run jointly by the Université libre de Bruxelles and the Université catholique de Louvain, and involves the Faculties of Psychology and Education Sciences and Medicine from each institution. The staff working on the course include practising therapists and researchers who are internationally renowned in their field of expertise.

Since their 2nd part of the program, students have the opportunity to design an exchange program with other universities (Europe – Québec)..

What's next ?

Prospects

If you go on to do the interfaculty and inter-university master’s course, you can become: a speech therapist or orthophonist and work in the private sector health care, teaching and educational institutions.

The training given is recognized in other French-speaking countries (France,Switzerland, andQuebec).

You will also be able to go into research at the doctoral level.
