ULB promotes access to health care and good health for its community through various medical and psychosocial consultation and support services, awareness-raising and prevention campaigns, and an extensive hospital network.

Medical and psychological care

 

The Medical Service

ULB has a Medical Service on the Solbosch campus. A wide range of consultations are available, including general and specialist medicine and paramedical services. It also offers nursing services and blood tests. Consultations at the Medical Service are available from Monday to Friday, by appointment.

  Aimer à l'ULB

Aimer à l’ULB is a family planning centre open year-round where you can find information, schedule a consultation on contraception, pregnancy, abortion, sexually transmitted infections (testing and treatment), get emergency contraception and pregnancy tests, consult with a psychologist or a psychotherapist, find legal advice or family mediation services, or take part in educational activities on sexual and emotional health.
Aimer à l’ULB is confidential and open to all Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., including during holidays.

 Le Service de santé mentale (SSM) - PsyCampus

Psychological help and support is available to all students, whether or not they are members of the University, and to ULB staff.

The Centre de consultations universitaire et pluridisciplinaire (CCUP) offers (neuro)psychological, logopaedic and orthopaedic consultations for both the university community and the general public.

Fighting against sexual and gender-based violence

ULB has been pursuing a proactive policy to curb sexual and gender-based violence, both in terms of prevention and support, and the University will continue to participate in this fight as long as it is necessary. Our university campuses must be safe places for everyone.

The Brussels University Hospital - HUB

A reference centre at international level, located in the heart of the Brussels Region, the Brussels University Hospital provides general, oncological and paediatric care of the very highest quality.
Alongside the HUB. in the Brussels Region, the University is extending its teaching and clinical research network to several hospitals in Hainaut, opening up a training ground with several thousand hospital beds to our medical students.
