Solidarity funds for researchers and students in danger

ULB has a strong tradition in its DNA of welcoming members of the academic community from countries in conflict or countries that violate fundamental rights. It has regularly taken a public stance in defense of academic freedom. In some countries, the very right to learn and study is jeopardized. This is why ULB has developed numerous initiatives and solidarity actions to defend academic freedom and the right to study, values that are dear to the institution.
