The objective of the “Bibliographic work” unit is to allow the student to appropriate the fundamental and founding concepts associated with the theme of his master thesis.
For this, the candidate will prepare a bibliographical sheet which briefly summarizes 4 publications considered as founding for the theme addressed in the dissertation.
The candidate will be guided by its master thesis Director to select the articles considered to be the most relevant.
The candidate will have to read these publications in depth in order to fully understand their scope within the framework of the theme addressed in the thesis.
An evaluation meeting will be organized in the presence of the 2 reporters, the master thesis Director and the holder of the teaching unit.
The candidate will briefly explain (5 min) the theme of his master thesis. During a question and answer session of about 30-45 min., the reporters will ensure that the candidate has mastered the fundamental concepts presented in the publications included in the bibliographic file.
