LA1: Students will be assessed on the basis of the material prepared by their group for the Spring of Science (educational text, poster, practical demonstration, etc.). They will also be assessed on their personal contribution via graded assignments, a written test based on the educational text, the oral presentation and the answers to questions during the project presentations to the jury and at the Spring of Science. If the mark for the pedagogical dossier is less than 12 or if the material for the Spring of Science is not ready at the beginning of February, the group will not take part in the Spring of Science and the final mark for the students in this group will be less than 10/20.
LA2 :: The assessment consists of two parts: a written assessment (50%) and a final oral exam (50%) in the form of a presentation in English related to the Spring of Science. The second session exam also consists of two parts: a written exam and an oral exam on a theme related to Spring of Science.
LA3: This LA is validated when :
• assignments requested on time for the UV (CV and covering letter).
• validation of the course book completed for the Spring of Science by the holders of the PRO Project.
Mark calculation method (including weighting of intermediary marks)
The mark obtained for LA1 is acquired for both sessions. There is no second session for this learning activity. For LA2, if the mark is less than 10/20, there is the possibility of a second session.
If the LA3 (Pro Project) is not validated in the first session, it can be validated in the second session.
The final score will be calculated as follows LA1 x 0.8 + LA2 x 0.2.
LA3: PRO Project: If the LA PRO Project is successful, the mark entered will be the mark calculated for the other 2 LAs in the UE (see mark construction). If the LA PRO Project is not completed, the mark entered will be ABS and the UE cannot be validated.
If the final mark for the UE is less than 10/20, the marks for the LAs equal to or higher than 10/20 will be carried over from one session to the next within the same academic year, as well as for the two academic years following their award.
Attendance is compulsory for all courses, and absence will prevent the validation of TRANS G3306 for the current year. All absences must be duly justified.
