Is a doctorate made for me?

You are finishing your Master degree and you are thinking of starting a doctorate? This workshops addresses doctorate' specificities, researcher's career and the benefit of doing a PhD in your career path planning.

 

Description

AvanThèse has the following objectives:

  • To inform you about the specific features of doctoral studies, both in terms of training and career development.
  • To guide you through the steps involved in completing a doctorate at ULB.
  • To help you structure your thinking as you develop your doctoral project.
  • To prepare you to present yourself effectively to your target audience.

The day is divided into two parts

  • An information session entitled “Mes interrogations sur l'univers doctoral et la formation par la recherche”.
  • A practical workshop entitled “Structurer mon projet de doctorat” (limited places).

Public

  • This workshop is intended for ULB Master's students. It is also open to students from other universities (FWB or elsewhere).
  • Priority criteria for the afternoon session: "first come, first served" but MA2 students have priority.

Language

This workshop is held in French.
