"AvanThèse" workshop

You are finishing your Master degree and you are thinking of starting a doctorate? This workshops addresses doctorate' specificities, researcher's career and the benefit of doing a PhD in your career path planning.

The "AvanThèse" workshop has the following objectives:
- formulate your questions about the PhD and the interest of training through research for your professional project.
- Encourage reflection on the characteristics and added value of the PhD.
- Pool the information held by everyone, stress the importance of a proactive approach and mobilisation of the network.
- Provide additional information, testimonials and advice.
- Structure your thinking in the development of your professional project.
- Prepare to present yourself effectively to your targets.
The day takes place around practical activities:
- my questions about the PhD universe and training through research.
- my professional project and the PhD.
You will be asked for preparatory work (around 2 hours of work at home). - Public

- This training is designed for ULB Master's students (students from other FWB universities may apply but will not be given priority).
- Priority criteria : first-come first-served basis (24 students per session).
