Contribution to the teaching profile
The course, in its two components (history of literature and reading exercises on the texts) contributes to deepening knowledge linked not only to the Italian language and literature, but also to European civilization of the modern era and in particular of the 19th-20th centuries.
Thanks to the intertextual approach - adopted for reading narrative texts and different poetic forms - students will be able to acquire techniques of analysis and interpretation that are also useful for the study of modern literature in other languages.
