Course content
Analysis of one work from the Latin literature at each quadrimester : textual genre, philological problems, intertextual relationships. Exercises in fluent reading of Latin texts.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Broadening and increasing the students' knowledge of Latin literature, continuing the Baccalauréat courses in this topic. Each year a complete work by a different Latin writer is dealt with in a philological and literary perspective.

In the academic year 2025-2026, the text discussed will be Œdipus by Seneca.

Exercises in fluent reading: tests by the assistant.

The final mark is the average of the marks obtained in the exercises and in the two written exams linked with the main course.
