Course content
The course covers the main fields of EU competition law (Article 101 TFEU, Article 102 TFEU, antitrust procedure, and merger control) as well as the Digital Markets Act.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
The course aims to provide students with advanced knowledge and understanding of EU competition law. Attention is paid to the historical development of competition law, to its economic and societal relevance, and to recent developments.
Teaching methods and learning activities
The course is delivered in a lecture format, but student participation and discussion are encouraged.

The course includes practical sessions (travaux pratiques) for students enrolled in the Specialized Master in European Law. Attendance at these sessions is mandatory.
Mark calculation method (including weighting of intermediary marks)
For students enrolled in the Specialized Master in European Law, the final mark consists of two components: (i) the written exam, which accounts for 75% of the final mark, and (ii) the practical sessions (travaux pratiques), which account for 25%.
For students who are not required to attend practical sessions, the final mark is based solely on the written exam.
