Usage limits of cryptographic algorithms. Algorithmic cryptanalysis of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic schemes. Advanced cryptographic techniques.

To understand the limits of encryption and authentication schemes. To understand some advanced notions with applications beyond encryption and authentication.

The oral exam covers for one part a topic chosen in advanced by the student, with questions going further into the details, and for the other part on all the topics seen in class but in less details.
The group work is evaluated based on the written report and on the group work interview.
