Course content

The course of clinical psycho-oncology will approach the issues that arise in the care of patients with cancer and their families via a biopsychosocial approach integrating psychoimmunological, psychoneuroendocrinological, psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioural, family and systemic approaches. It will focus on the psychological problems associated with the confrontation with cancerous illness both at the level of patients and their families (problems associated with the announcement phase, remission, relapse and end of life). It will develop the main psychological interventions implemented in this context (communication, preparation, support, psychotherapy).
