Course content
History of Russian literature from the XVIII - first half of the XIX Century. Selected list of authors different from the course Russian Literature II.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To introduce the richness and diversity of modern Russian literature from its origins to the era of Pouchkin and Gogol. To place the work and its author in the historical and cultural context of Russia and Europe.
Littérature russe I is taking place at the same day and time as Littérature russe II. Normally, the students can not be enrolled simultaneously at these two courses (unless they have already previously failed one of them).
