Course content
History of Russian literature from the XVIII - first half of the XIX Century. Selected list of authors different from the course Russian Literature I.
Littérature russe II is taking place at the same day and time as Littérature russe I. Normally, the students can not be enrolled simultaneously at these two courses (unless they have already previously failed one of them).
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To introduce the richness and diversity of modern Russian literature to the second half of the XIX Century (from Tourguenev to Dostoevsky). To place the work and its author in the historical and cultural context of Russia and Europe.
