Course content

Principles of environmental protection and sustainable development. Factors contributing to the success or failure of the implementation of those principles. The analysis proceeds from practical cases (environmental taxes, life cycle analysis, REACH regulation, agroecological experiences…). Special emphasis is placed on the constraints and opportunities related to the interdisciplinary and participatory character of environmental practices.

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

Developing knowledge of the principles of the environment and the capacity to analyse the difficulties encountered in implementing those principles.
