  • Cellular Physiology: Internal environment and homeostasis; Membrane physiology; Physiology of excitable cells

  • Systems Physiology: Integumentory System; Central Nervous System, Sensory Physiology, Endocrine System, Cardiovascular System, Immune System, Digestive System, the Kidneys

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

The course aims at giving the students the physiological bases necessary for a future Pharmacist. This knowledge is important to enabling them to understand other pharmaceutical courses like Physiopathology, Pharmacology, Toxicology Medical Biochemistry, etc.
