Course content
Lectures : Presentation of the main models, methods and principles underlying the psychological assessment of human intelligence. Major attention is dedicated to the study of the Wechsler scales. Guidance on how to write professional psychological reports is offered and illustrated through several case studies.
Practical seminars : Introduction to the administration, scoring and interpretation procedures of some of the major tests currently used by psychologists (e.g., WPPSI-IV, WISC-V and WAIS-IV).
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To introduce future psychologists to the clinical dimensions of the psychological assessment of intellectual functions in children, adolescents and adults.
