          Introduction to health systems: concepts and definitions, health systems components and organization in the students' countries, system thinking

Valéry Ridde
          - Concepts and practice of evaluation of public health interventions: definition, type of evaluation, evaluation process, standards and professional practice
          - Importance of using conceptual frameworks for the study of public health systems and interventions: interdisciplinarity, different types of conceptual frameworks, applications of CFIR

Samiratou Ouédraogo
          - Ethical issues in public health research
          - Collaboration and partnership issues in public heath research
At the end of the course students should be able to anticipate and implement strategies to mitigate ethical, collaborative and partnership issues during implementation and evaluation of public health research.
