Teaching methods and learning activities

Face-to-face, lecture-based and interactive teaching
Language practice
The German IV teaching unit consists of an online module and a face-to-face course.

Semester 1: online module
The online module aims to consolidate and deepen grammatical and lexical foundations, with an emphasis on economic vocabulary and basic knowledge of German civilisation. Through the Virtual University, students have access to a variety of multiple-choice exercises, fill-in-the-blank texts, specialised vocabulary, press articles, and audio and audiovisual materials to practise their comprehension, writing and listening skills.

Semester 2: face-to-face course
The face-to-face course, based on the language skills acquired in the online module, covers current affairs and the specific characteristics of the professional environment in German-speaking countries. Press articles and audio and audiovisual materials are used as teaching aids. Through debates, presentations and role-plays, students will be encouraged to put their knowledge into practice.
