Project

Continuous assessment

Oral examination

The assessment consists of three parts:

1. An oral exam in May/June: 70%.

The oral consists of an interview on the course topics and possibly on a general subject related to current events.
2. Two assignments throughout the year: 30%.

These activities are mandatory as they are part of the final grade. No exceptions are made. The assignments are announced well in advance via the course, so working students must also complete them. If the deadline is not met or the assignment is not submitted, the student receives 0/20. If you are sick and submit a medical certificate to your teacher within 48 hours, you will not get 0/20 for the second assignment. The 15% will then be added to the oral exam in June. Students repeating the year cannot reuse the interview from the previous academic year but must submit a new activity.
The evaluation consists of three parts:

3. Continuous assessment: bonus between 0 and 1 point This assessment rewards motivated students who actively participate in class throughout the school year and who engage themselves, so that they have clearly made a lot of progress during the year. This grade is added to the final grade. +1 very motivated student(s) who always actively participate in class (very well-prepared for lessons/made a lot of progress) +0.5 makes efforts but not always, is not always prepared (Little progress during the year) 0 Too many absences (Low motivation and rarely takes an active part in class - (almost) no progress made during the year) 4. Second session In August, the evaluation consists of: an oral exam (minimum 70% - maximum 100%) the mandatory assignments from the first session (30%)* continuous assessment * If you scored < 10/20 on the mandatory assignments during the first session, this grade won't count anymore in August, and the oral exam will count for 100%.
