Course content
Methods for deriving fundamental stellar parameters (mass - radius - luminosity). Equations of state. Equations of stellar structure.
Application to white dwarf stars. Use of a basic stellar structure code
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To master the equations of stellar structure, pre-requesite for the course on stellar evolution and radiative transfer in stellar atmospheres. Using a code of stellar structure.

Reading a textbook on stellar structure following by (bi)-weekly live Q/A sessions. Solving exercises. Understanding a code of stellar structure and experimenting with it.
