Course content

  • Reading and analysis of different types of texts of varying lengths.
  • Partial or complete reading and analysis of a literary work (prose, poetry, etc.).

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

By the end of this course unit, students will be able to analyse and discuss different types of texts, both orally and in writing, using the main techniques of textual analysis and commentary. By the end of the term, students will be expected to have reached level B2.3 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in the five skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening, and interaction.
