This course is intended for French speakers with a minimum level of B2. The course will be taught in French. The course aims to develop skills in observing and analyzing scientific discourse and in academic writing in French. The course includes mandatory readings in economics and management (portfolio of research articles on the UV).

Objectifs (et/ou acquis d'apprentissages spécifiques)

At the end of the course, the student should be able to understand and rephrase excerpts from scientific research articles in French. They must be able to respond to requests for clarification regarding the stages of research using appropriate specialized vocabulary. They should also be capable of sharing information from various scientific sources both in writing and orally, in a structured manner and in an academic style.

The course includes readings, regular written assignments, midterm assignments, and presentations.
Each session offers a time for observation, a time for theory, and a time for practical application and individual work.

The assessment is divided into three intermediate assignments to be submitted outside of the exam session, a written exam, and two oral presentations.
Passing the various parts of the exam entitles students to 5 ECTS credits.

Construction de la note (en ce compris, la pondération des notes partielles)

Written exam, written assignment, and presentation before January: ½ of the final grade.
Written assignments and presentation before the end of June: ½ of the final grade.

The course is validated under the following cumulative conditions: participation in all partial exams on the specified dates and achieving a score of 10/20 for each of them.
The scores obtained during the partial sessions in January and June must each reach at least 10/20.
If the student does not attend or fails any of the parts in January or June, they must retake the exam in the second session.
Parts with scores higher than 10/20 do not need to be retaken; only the part that was failed must be retaken according to the conditions established for the second session.
