Pratique contemporaine de l'urbanisme et du projet de paysage

The student will acquire specific knowledge concerning the contemporary theory and practice of urban planning, urbanism and landscape project. It will get an overview of the different planning tools and institutions concerned with urban planning and urban transition in Brussels.

The course will consist of thematic lectures and seminars. A first part of the course will be coordinated by Geoffrey Grulois on specific questions of urban planning and urbanism. A second part of course and lecture will be organize as part of the "chaire perpective at ULB" on a specific theme relating to contemporary question of urban planning in Brussels. This second part will be partly give in Perspective office (rue de namur 59) and in specific site in relation to visit. For academic year 2023-24, the chaire perspective will be dedicated to the theme of  "student life". Each academic year, the thematic of the chaire perspective is articulated to the thematic of the atelier d'urbanisme (URBAP9006).

Contribution au profil d'enseignement

This course will feed the core question of contemporary urban planning and urbanism theory and practice.
