Evaluation

Méthode(s) d'évaluation

  • Examen écrit

Examen écrit

Written exam (no multiple-choice questions). Practice tests and mock exams are available on UV.

Construction de la note (en ce compris, la pondération des notes partielles)

January written exam: 50%
AND
May/June written exam: 50%
If necessary, second-session written exam (August): 100%. Content of the make-up exam: the material covered throughout the entire year in the form of a SINGLE written exam.

Session 1: The annual grade is the average of the grades from both terms. However, for the final grade to be valid, you must have earned a minimum grade of 10/20 in each term/exam. The January exam can be retaken in May/June, provided you have requested an ABD (abandon de note/grade replacement via MonULB; be sure to meet the deadlines!). It will take place immediately after the Q2 exam.
Session 2: For students whose grades are below 10/20, it is possible to take a make-up exam during Session 2 (August). This consists of a single exam covering the entire annual curriculum. The Session 2 grade will then replace all previous grades and serve as the final grade.

N.B.: The instructor reserves the right to invite any student to a supplementary oral interview to verify their personal mastery of the exam content, particularly when inconsistencies found in the exam prevent the instructor from properly assessing the student’s level of mastery of the knowledge and skills covered in the course.
