The course will focus on developing (mainly European) entrepreneurial ventures beyond their inception, mainly from startup to early growth stages. 

Scaling a business requires :
- Strategic growth planning,
- Optimizing product offerings, market strategies, and sales approaches
- Operational efficiency,
- Leadership and talent development,
- Strong governance
- rigorous finance management with fundraising, investor relations, and advanced strategies like M&A and LBOs enable growth

Social responsibility and sustainability are integral, addressing environmental and community impact.

Objectifs (et/ou acquis d'apprentissages spécifiques)

Understanding of the main challenges and key concepts associated with each stage of growth :
- Marketing and Sales
- Operations optimization
- Talent management
- Governance
- Finance, incl. venture capital, private equity, and M&A

Pré-requis et Co-requis

Connaissances et compétences pré-requises ou co-requises

Basic knowledge in entrepreneurship, strategy, marketing, and corporate finance.

Méthodes d'enseignement et activités d'apprentissages

The course consists of 12 sessions that include
- Case discussion (cases to be prepared in advance)
- Summary of the key concepts
- Guest speakers' testimonials, mainly entrepreneurs and investors
