Objectifs (et/ou acquis d'apprentissages spécifiques)
The Project Management course has five main objectives, namely:

To develop students’ project management skills both hard and soft, through greater theoretical understanding and practical application of the project management principles.

To explain the essential skills required to be an excellent project manager.

To show what are the key elements that influence project management outcome.
-
To explain why many projects fail and why few are successful
-
To present the main project management frameworks: PMI and Prince2 for traditional projects and Agile for iterative or customer centric projects.

Students’ assessment will be based on the following components:

Final group case study (40%): Final Project Case (to be submitted by each group)

Group assignments (20%): The group assignments take place in the course sessions and relate to in-class small group projects.

Individual assignment (25%): students will have to answer one practical question on the Final Project Case to demonstrate their understanding of all project’s managerial dimensions.
-
Class participation (15%): class participation refers to the discussion and knowledge sharing in the class.
